Oh, the water!
Weho, Vamos? What's the genesis of that term, name, title...or whatever it is?
It has its genesis in a simple misunderstanding, but it is also represents who we are and how we go about our lives.
Weho came about one day when Laura and I were casually hanging out. She started a conversation with "Well..." and paused. Not having my bionic ears (aka hearing aids) in place and turned on I completely misunderstood her and replied "Weho? What does that mean?" That was followed by an extended session of gut busting laughter.
My understanding is that vamos is translated as let's go. Vamos is to be differentiated from vamanos which imparts a load of I'm frustrated, let's get going now! and possibly even scram you little brat!
For the most part we try to behave with intent, purpose not impulsiveness, prepare with due diligence, and then get going. Weho, Vamos is a just a pithy description of that behavior. And it makes us laugh every time, which is just as important.
If there is a body of water worth sailing to or fishing from, we have either been there or would like to go there. And we welcome doing this with people of all ages and skill levels.
